Welcome to Color Art! My name is Betty Hung, and I love coloring just like you. I live in Canada with my husband and my labradoodle puppy Dexter. I started coloring in 2016 and have fallen in love with this art form. I have learned a lot since and continue to learn about this every single day. There are many colorists out there that I truly respect and a lot of them have kindly shared their techniques on social media. I am here to share what I have learned in my art journey with all of you, what works for me and what doesn’t. Although I am mostly a self-taught artist, I have some formal art training in drawing, design and watercolor. My day job is an IT professional which means I am a very analytical, left brain person. Art allows my right brain to unleash its creativity. In addition to coloring, I aspire to be an illustrator, I taught myself zentangle and I also practice brush lettering and calligraphy. I hope that you enjoy visiting my site and learning more about my art. I envision this website to be a “birds of a feather” art community where people with similar interest in color art can exchange ideas so that we can learn together.
